HOW TO: Simple Prints/Filters/Doodle/Poster Design

You can adapt this simple process to anything you like. Your only constraints are the software and hardware you have. I use simple software. You could do all of this on your phone and not have to print at all.

Step 1

Choose a photo. I choose the one below as it reminded me of nostrils.

Step 2

Filter using in device software. I used Photos on a mac. I made my photo monochrome and enhanced the contrast. Like so -

Step 3

Print this and trace out (in my case) the nostrils and add some other detail (in this case 'eyes')

Step 4

Using thicker marker pens, draw up a simple image.

Step 5

Take a photo of this and again using on device software (Photos on a mac, in my case), make a poster.
